Bilkis Bano gang rape case: Supreme Court orders Gujarat government to pay compensation of ₹50 lakh

The Supreme Court has asked the Gujarat government to pay compensation of Rs 50 lakh to Bilkis Bano. The court, while hearing a plea of Bilkis Bano, also directed the Gujarat Government to provide her a government job and accommodation as per rules. Bilkis Bano was gang-raped post the Godhra riots; her 3-year-old daughter was killed. Mirror Now's Meenakshi.B shares details.
