🇦🇫 Afghan grand council demands 'immediate and permanent' ceasefire | Al Jazeera English

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has approved a series of recommendations for peace talks with the Taliban.
That's after five days of debate by three thousand elders at their assembly - the Loya Jirga.
Ghani approved seeking an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of U-S troops.
And he's ordered the release of 175 Taliban prisoners.
