entral Board of Secondary Education, CBSE will soon to release the results of Class 10th and class 12th results on its official website. As per the reports, CBSE Class 12th results would release the results in the month of May 2019.
While the results of Class 10th will be released in the first week of June 2019. Candidates will have to check their results only at the official website of CBSE at cbseresults.nic.in.
Here’s what the important notice about the moderation process and passing criteria about CBSE Board exams results:
Board students and their parents are informed that CBSE has not shared a new moderation policy criteria on its website.
As per the reports of Times Now, the moderation policy refers to normalizing the score based on the overall difficulty level of the examination. Board has also decided that it would award the grace marks depends on the moderation policy decision.
While for passing criteria, class 12th candidates are required to score a minimum of 33 percent marks in the practical and theory papers. However, the passing criteria for class 10th students have been revived. High school students will have to score a total of 33 percent marks in both theoretical papers and practical (internal assessment) as well.
The change to class 10th passing criteria was introduced in 2018 by the board as a one-time exemption. Earlier, for class 10th, board allotted grades to candidates.
