The question here is "who is the best photographer for each brand?" providing that many of these photographers are new to the system and the cold start problem is a challenge. This recommendation engine works with a data mining methodology called Minkowski distance. The model recommends photographers with highest similarity to what brands ask for. The model is adaptable and general enough to be applied in any kind of recommendation systems. Also, the advantage is to not worry about feedback at the start which is a concern in most of recommenders.
