Will a $5 dog worm medicine help some people with cancer? That is the fascinating article I read last week about a man who had terminal cancer and upon the advice of his veterinarian began taking fenbendazole along with crucial low-cost supplements. His tumors vanished within 3 months. At the time he was also taking an experimental cancer drug that was hoped to extend his life by 6 or 9 months. Of the 1100 other cancer patients with him on the study, he was the only person to have remission of his cancer. His name is Tippens and he has a blog to detail his journey and is hoping to spread the word about his results. Apparently, other people have contacted him with promising results. there appears to be some evidence that the drug hinders the ability of cancer cells to feed itself sugar it needs to grow rapidly. Also, patients need to take certain common supplements to get the desired effect as neither the supplements or Fenbendazole work independently from each other.
According to the information I have seen online there are studies showing the drug has shown some effect and also a study that showed no results.
Usually, if something sounds too good to be true it is not true. This story sounds too good to be true. But I have a good feeling about this story.
People need to do more research on what information is available and talk to their doctor.
We need to keep the faith and say a prayer the story is true.
Just this week scientists claim patients with AIDS can now take drugs to keep the number of AIDS so low it is undetectable and unable to transfer to other humans which basically has the ability to end AIDS. Maybe soon we can say the same about cancers.
It would be so wonderful if there was a fund set aside to reward people who discovered a cancer cure by testing unprofitable substances that might work but never turn a profit for the drug companies. I have always thought there are probably many cures from common or cheap items that will never be studied as they can not repay the cost of the studies if the substances are not patentable or too ow a profit. There should be a reward for cures regardless of what they consist of. Even $5 dog worm medicines and a few supplements.
