1) Along with Seva chant the name of Lord mentally. You can chant 'Om Sri Sai Ram'. The main thing here is that your mind should get purified. Purification is important.
2) Do your duty but dont desire any recognition.
3) Dont have too much identification with your name and form. Try to reduce your identification with a particular name and form.
4) It is alright if you get the honour automatically. There shouldnt be any desire from your end to get honoured.
