Real Madrid's Odegaard to choose between Sociedad and Leverkusen Martin Odegaard has two options to go out on loan next season as Real Sociedad and Bayer Leverkusen fight to secure the midfielder's signature from Real Madrid. The Norway star landed in Germany last week seemingly set on a move to the German side, but he has since had his head turned by a proposal from the Spanish outfit.Sociedad spoke to the 20-year-old  on Friday and it is thought he is keener on a move to the fellow La Liga side. Martin Odegaard's form in Holland over the last two years has kept him in the Norway side However, Madrid would rather Odegaard move to Leverkusen as they can offer Champions League football next term.Despite their disadvantage of not being able to offer continental competition, the Basque club are encouraged by Odegaard seriously considering their proposal. The Norway international has failed to make an impact since his high profile move to the Bernabeu four years ago, when at 16-years-old he had already been capped at senior level. However, he has made good progress while out on loan in the previous couple of seasons in Holland. But the Real Madrid outcast is set for another loan move away from Real Madrid having spent last season playing at Vitesse ArnhemA promising campaign at Heerenveen was followed by bigger improvements last term at Vitesse Arnhem. He scored eight times and provided 11 assists in 31 games in the Dutch league.Despite his promising form though, he looks no closer to breaking into the first team at the Bernabeu, with Eden Hazard and Rodrygo having arrived this summer.
