The 2019 Scripps National Spelling Bee ended in an EIGHT WAY TIE. That’s right people, eight...count ‘em EIGHT CHAMPIONS were crowned last night after they apparently ran out of words to give to the competitors. This ending goes to show that we’re becoming increasingly afraid to declare winners and losers when it comes to our children. This is going to make them soft, and non competitive in the future.
