Aladdin Inspired Nails Part 3 - The Lamp - Worst Client Ever

Hiya,

We’re back with another Aladdin Themed set of nails and today we’re doing the Genie’s Lamp on Fay’s other hand - and she barely complains at all. Maybe my wish came true?

We’ve already prepped her nails and fixed a small break on her ring finger and sculpting a ballerina nail. For the broken nail, we need to put the tab on its side at the back of the form to make a straight smile line where Fay’s damaged the nail. We shouldn’t have a long nail on the damaged nail but Fay won’t let that happen and knows the risk.

I’m sculpting a thin, clear layer and then go in with my colours to ombre from orange to purple and add in the glitters too. I’ll then encapsulate that and file.

For the lamp, I’m going to use Going for Gold over the entire nail and use Top Coat to draw out the lamp. Cure and then wipe over with Gel Residue Wipe Off Solution to remove the excess Gel Polish. I’ll add detail with Brown Owl.

I’m going to use Snow White mixed with top coat and blooming gel for the smoke across all of the nails. I’m going to finish off with bling because it’s Fay.
