When we go to the movies we expect to see tales in which good characters triumph over evil. And this is especially true when it comes to Disney movies. In Disney animated films, it’s often crystal clear which characters are the protagonists and which characters aren’t. When we watch these films we know we’re supposed to root for the white hats and reject the black hats. Yet, what if that set-up has led us to ignore some seriously questionable morals on the part of Disney’s so-called protagonists?
