Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe Three FEMEN activists staged a protest to denounce 22 firefighters accused of raping a child. The action took place in front of the Ministry of the Armies general staff headquarters in Paris on Friday.
The activists, dressed as firefighters and equipped with fire extinguishers, stood in front of the building with a sign reading "Justice consumes women" and "Fire! Rape!" written across their chests.
The protest came after a decision on Saturday to charge three of the accused firefighters with sexual abuse, although they were initially indicted on more serious charges of aggravated rape of a minor.
The alleged victim filed a complaint in 2010, accusing 22 firemen of having raped her on multiple occasions, when she was aged between 13 and 15 years old and while she was on heavy medication.
