Thousands of civil servants in Hong Kong took to the streets directly defying a government directive to remain politically neutral. They were out in support of anti-government protests which have rocked the Special administrative region for two months. Yesterday workers from the city's financial sector took to the streets, and Hong Kong is bracing for major demonstrations over the weekend.
