President Donald Trump wants the power to take firearms from people who "pose a grave risk to public safety". Seventeen US states have some kind of so-called red flags laws - now the president wants to expand their use, although it's unclear how.
In Colorado, one of these US sheriffs campaigned for this law - the other refuses to enforce it.
