The Yamuna monitoring committee has directed the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to use treated waste water in an effective manner. The committee points out that less than 20% of waste water is being used now. 89 MGD out of 489 MGD treated waste water generated by DJB. In a report released last week, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) empowered committee also stated that common effluent treatment plants (CETPs) of DSIIDC utilised less than 10% of the treated water.
