On Monday 9 September, 2019, Dr. Blanca LUPIANI address the meeting of the TAMU Faculty Senate detailing the progress made in implementing the program of work she outlined immediately prior to her appointment as Dean of Faculties earlier this year. Dr. Lupiani opened her address with the publicly promulgated mission of the TAMU Office of the Dean of Faculties, "To create a supportive, collaborative, inclusive and respectful environment where every faculty member can excel, and feel empowered, inspired and represented."
