Passing quick Judgement can close you off to new opportunies

Passing quick Judgement can close you off to new opportunies We pass quick judgement on things we see and people we meet all the time. This thought process is done easily based on our own believes, values and life experiences. We are visual beings, so we often are already forming our own opinions and making up stories in our minds before we delve deeper into what we see.

Just like in the video, the dessert in front of me is not what it appears to be. If we pass that quick judgement..."Oh it's just a hot dog...I don't like hot dogs". We miss out! We lose the opportunity to taste this delicious dessert.

Much like in life, when we make those quick judgements, we lose out in opportunities that could be in front of us, but we're blind to it. Or we miss out in meeting and getting to know wonderful people, who may have a wealth of knowledge because our judgement is closing us off.

Fear not, there are some tools to combat this judgemental mindset.
1) Self awareness
2) Empathy
3) Love & Compassion

Be mindful that this will take practice and the more you put these tools into use, the more natural it'll become.
