From Birth to 3 years are the most formative and productive years of a person’s life. But what role does genetics play in determining an offspring’s intellectual, if any? Is the mother the parent who gives an infant and toddler his or her cognitive and emotional intelligence that will last a lifetime? Or is it the parent with the advanced IQ? What steps should an economically disadvantage mother undertake that will improve her young child’s intelligence and well-being? When and how do infants learn new tasks and develop expressive and receptive vocabularies? Does spanking and screaming play a negative role on the IQ development? Should America establish free programs correlated with: parent-child?
