Marcus Rashford got the first goal of the game and put Man United into the lead against the scousers when he finished off Daniel James’ cross into the net, past Allison.

Liverpool then equalised late on in the second half when, substitute, Adam Lallana managed to hit the ball past De Gea and into the goal. A frustrating thing to happen for Man Utd as many would say that they did not deserve anything.
