How To Aim withTurkish Traditional Bow

I have frequently been asked how to aim with Turkish traditional bow when shooting with thumb release. Although I have always been an intuitive/instinctive shooter I have been experimenting with some conscious aiming methods for the last few years. Here you will find possible conscious aiming methods when the string is pulled to the earlobe as mentioned in all Ottoman and many Mamluk treatises. However, there is also a method that is used with lower anchors that also existed and used in the past.
