How to Realize the Beauty of Nothingness (Sunyata - Real Spiritual Emptiness in Meditation)

How to Realize the Beauty of Nothingness (Sunyata - Real Spiritual Emptiness in Meditation) The real beauty of nothingness and Sunyata: the truth about spiritual emptiness in meditation. Background music can be found here

This video was made because of several questions I have had from people that experience in meditation what they call nothingness or spiritual emptiness, where they feel desolation, depression and this is what nothingness is.

The reason for this is because what they are experiencing is not real Sunyata. Rather, they may have gone beyond thoughts and emotions and feel a sense of emptiness, but from the perspective of the sense of being a separate self. It is that feeling of separation that causes their feeling of unhappiness and depression.

This is why the path of awareness / vipassana / mindfulness is extremely difficult on its own.

Real spiritual emptiness, real nothingness is a feeling of Infinite Peace. You feel liberated from yourself and rest in the subtle feeling of infinite goodness and happiness that has nothing to do with emotional happiness.

So to make sure you don't get stuck in this depressed state of emptiness, it is far better to practice yogic techniques like breath prana techniques, chanting, japa, even physical yogic postures and physical exercise as well.

If you can start doing more devotional practices, like chanting, bhajans or even japa where you feel a bliss connection with the mantra, then you will start to feel the peace and bliss that is meditation and won't get stuck in a sense of impersonal consciousness where you feel separate from love and peace.

The most important aspect to start experiencing real peace and bliss is to be in in the enlightened presence of one who has realized real Shunyata, has realized real nothingness and the Infinite Joy that lies beyond that. Because by being in enlightened presence, you naturally feel bliss and peace and this bliss meditates you.

I offer meditation music that transmits this enlightened presence. Just by listening to this "Shakti Music," you experience this peace and bliss and this takes you deeper into meditation. The background music in this video is from the Radiance Shakti CDs/mp3s which you can read about and hear more samples of this music here bliss-music.com/yoga_meditation_music.htm

I also offer free online Shakti transmission meditations with me on the weekends. You can sign up for them here

Third is these videos. If you watch them on an empty stomach, you will begin to feel a sense of peace and bliss that takes you beyond mental/ego perception.

In addition to this enlightened presence, you also have to learn how to surrender that sense of separate self. And one very important part of this is to allow yourself to feel everything. We have all of these feelings that may even be beyond thoughts and emotions that we avoid and distract ourselves from. By surrendering this avoidance and allowing all feeling to be in awareness, we dissolve egotism and separateness and the feelings dissolve back into their essence of peace and bliss.

By doing this, you stop trying to force your way into emptiness, rather emptiness becomes effortless, because your sense of separate self has dissolved and what is left is pure consciousness.
