The 17-year-old college student, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said in evidence she saw the wound in Jodie’s back as she shone a torch - and the white fluff of the inside of her jacket turned red with blood. She was with a group of friends when she was attacked in a park in Harold Hill in Romford, east London, on March 1. The court previously heard from Jodie’s boyfriend Eddie Coyle, who described the moment the Girl Scout collapsed in his arms after the fatal attack. Breaking down in the witness box today, their friend said: “Eddie shouted that she had been stabbed. “So, I said someone needs to call an ambulance and while I thought Kasey was going to call an ambulance because he got his phone out, I went and got my phone and actually shone it on Jodie's back. “I saw a hole. I could clearly see that she had been stabbed because the jacket she was wearing had fluff on the inside and the jacket had been ripped and it was coming out and the fluff was originally white, and you could just see blood. “I saw two men after I saw Jodie turn around. I saw two men and they turned around and ran towards the gate to Retford Road. “She was still screaming by this point and her eyes started to roll back in her head and she just fell into Eddie and he had to catch her, and he tried to keep her up and he tried to keep her awake. “He ended up sort of positioning her on the ground on him, and he ended up also trying to keep her awake because her eyes were gone.” Another friend described the "panic and hysteria" which broke out when Jodie was fatally stabbed. Kasey Henderson told jurors it all happened "very fast" and was "completely unexpected". The 18-year-old had gone to Amy's Park after bumping into his twin brother Bryce, Jodie, and her boyfriend Eddie at Romford railway station. Mr Henderson said: "We were planning on picking up cannabis from someone and smoking it at the park. "That's about it. Bryce called one of our dealers and they were going to deliver it to the park." Mr Henderson thought two males who entered the park had stolen his bag when Jodie was knifed in the back, the court heard. He said: "I first fully became aware of them when I heard a noise and they were running away. "It sounded like ripping of fabric and I thought I had heard a piece of metal or something. "I was not sure what it was. I thought it was my bag strap getting caught on the bench. "I assumed they were picking up the bag on the bench." Prosecutor Joel Smith asked: "You thought someone had stolen your bag?" The witness replied: "There was a moment where I moved round the table to look a
