Efforts to clean up have begun in Hong Kong, and primary and secondary schools have reopened after six days of being closed. Scattered incidents of protesters stopping trains and blocking traffic occur on a much smaller scale than the demonstrations of the past week. City workers are inspecting the damage to a main road tunnel that remains closed after protesters torched the toll booths.
