There are two types of Actual Minimum Material Envelope

1. Unrelated Actual Minimum Material Envelope (UAMME)
2. Related Actual Minimum Material Envelope (AMME)

Unrelated Actual Minimum Material Envelope (UAMME) is a similar perfect feature counterpart contracted about an internal feature or expanded within an external feature and not constrained to any datum reference frame.

Related Actual Minimum Material Envelope (RAMME) is a similar perfect feature counterpart contracted about an internal feature or expanded within an external feature while constrained in orientation , in location or both to the applicable datums
