How to communicate with your baby

How to communicate with your baby Here are ways to start/support and strengthen communication skills with with your little one. These are tips that helped us communicate with our son and I wanted to share several clips with you all.

I am a student and a parent, so in the video I am sharing information that I learned about in early childhood development classes and that I learned along the way within our sons first year.

All children develop differently. They learn at their own pace-when they are ready. Also, they each have different intelligences and learning styles. If you have any questions or concerns specifically about your child, then please speak to your Childs physician.

These tips will not guarantee your baby to speak, but they are ways to encourage communication. Share your tips down bellow!

Thank you for watching!

*Overview*
1.Make it fun!Use nursery rhymes/songs.
2.Accept any sound or gesture that the child may start using, esp when he or she is starting to babble. There are many ways to communicate, not only with words.
3. Baby sign and exaggerate gestures.Narrate throughout the day.
4.Use words that sound similar. Start with short words and you can try shortening the words. (Banana = Nana Nighttime = Ni Ni)
