Available now at : The Route One Mason is a fully waterproof and protective riding trouser. It could fool anyone, since it looks like the everyday pair of jeans you have in your wardrobe right now. There is quite a bit going on underneath the hood though. What you see is a straight fit jean with a slight taper, constructed from high quality 11.5oz denim, what you can't see is the Huntsman water repellent coating that makes water bead on the surface and run off. Enough to keep you dry should you get caught out in the rain. Should you be exposed to heavier and lengthier rainfall, the Mason has a Reissa waterproof and breathable membrane hidden underneath the denim, to make sure you stay dry even if rain gets past the coated outer. Also hidden on the inside is a highly abrasion resistant 220gsm Dupont™ Kevlar® liner in the seat, hips and knees. Those knees are equipped with CE Level 2 impact absorbing armour, and there are pockets for optional hip armour.
