SA bushfires burning out of control after day of catastrophic conditions | ABC News

A bushfire emergency is still unfolding in South Australia after the state endured a day of catastrophic risk brought on by high winds and temperatures well above the November average.

Some residents in high danger areas, such as the Adelaide Hills, abandoned their homes early to head for the city.
