Turtlebox was designed and created by four friends with a desire to LIVE FREE. We love life, adventure, and the outdoors - we also love music and believe that all aspects of our lives are better when blended with great music. Our music needs to be loud, clear, and full. Louder than a JACKHAMMER
We wanted outdoor portable speakers that could actually be heard outdoors. And we couldn’t find one that could fill an outdoor space with big, powerful sound. So we created the loudest Bluetooth speaker we could possibly fit in an 11.5” x 6.5” x 8.75” box of pure rugged tenacity.

Optimized Frequency Curve
One thing we’ve observed along the way is most other portables boast of “omnidirectional” sound (speaker placement on all sides of unit) and have touted its superiority. We’ve found that to be false in an outdoor environment. Half the sound generated by omnidirectional speakers is lost in the wind - all that audio power is wasted.
Our optimized frequency curve makes sure you can hear every detail loud and clear as the sound cuts through wind and distance. You rarely put your sound source in the middle of the action - the reality is you put it to the side and fire it at the action. You want all of that power directed toward the listener.

IP67 Water Ingress Protection Rating means Turtlebox is completely sealed from water and dust.
You can throw Turtlebox in a pool, drop it in a lake, wash it off with a jet hose, and it’ll still play loud and clear.

TRUE L/R STEREO PAIRING
Every Turtlebox speaker can wirelessly pair up with another Turtlebox to give you legendary L/R true stereo sound.
By distinctly separating your left and right channels, not only do you get double the sound power, but you get an incredibly realistic sound experience.

LONG-LASTING BATTERY
Turtlebox boasts a 50+ hour long continuous playtime at 50% volume (still louder than many portables at max volume) with its rechargeable battery.
We call this volume level “tailgate”. Everyone in a 50 person tailgate can hear it perfectly.

AUTOMATIC BLUETOOTH PAIRING
No fancy tricks, confusing buttons, or complex screens. Our Bluetooth 4.0 connects automatically to your linked device up to 100 ft away.
If you prefer the higher fidelity of an auxiliary input, simply bypass the Bluetooth and plug in an aux cord to our 3.5mm input.

The Turtlebox team is based out of Houston, TX, where we enjoy canoeing the bayou, sailing in the bay and camping on the weekends. We love music and high-quality gear. But when it came to a speaker that could keep up with our lifestyle - nothing got the job done. Portable Bluetooth speakers broke easily and weren’t nearly loud enough, while “outdoor” speakers were uber durable, but sounded terrible. We needed a clear sounding, loud as a foghorn Bluetooth speaker that was also waterproof and strong. So we created Turtlebox.
We built the first Turtlebox in our garage - it was a waterproof case with a marine-grade 6x9 speaker mounted to the front and a car amplifier and motorcycle battery inside.
