Today, I was invited to attend a Principal's Breakfast where Vera received the "Effort Award." According to the letter, "it is an award given to scholars who demonstrate hard work, class participation and for always doing their best in PS 290 A.C.E. Academy for Scholars." Vera received this award along with other scholars from different grade levels from Pre-K to 5th Grade. I am proud of my Vera. 😊 This video documents what transpired during and after the event.
