When you are running ads always look at the bigger picture. I feel into the trap of looking at the cost per lead, as many people do 😲.
But there is more to look at here. Before you turn your ad off or pause an ad, always look at the bigger picture. The costs particularly the cost per lead could be different for a few reasons 👌.
The higher cost per lead for us was higher than other campaigns because of the type of ad we were running. Not all leads are created equal. In this ad we gave content then a call to action.
So it gave us a different conversion cost than some of the other campaigns. The targeting was different, so you will get a different cost per lead 👈.
Always find out what the difference is, for us the ad was content and then a call to action. So we got different costs per lead due to the type of ad we were running.
