Where Did the Money Go? - Part 1 After a period of uncontrolled borrowing and the unveiling of several mega infrastructure projects, Kenya's government is increasingly finding itself in a tight corner as it has to balance the revenues collected by the Kenya Revenue Authority, which has continuously missed its collection targets, servicing of local and external debts which are falling due and public spending. For the latter, the challenges have resulted in a vicious war with county governments whose disbursements have often delayed, and spilt over to other arms of government, as recently exhibited by happenings in the country's judiciary.

In the midst of all this, one is left wondering, where did the money in East Africa's largest economy go?

In August, Africa Uncensored's John-Allan Namu hosted a panel of thought leaders on the matter at hand as well as tie-ins that include devolution and the full implementation of the constitution that the country promulgated in 2010.
