Addiction in an illness which affects everyone, including healthcare professionals. It affects an individual's family health, their employment and their ability to practice their profession. Unfortunately, a professional which is afflicted with an addiction can have their ability to work impacted by many legal agencies. Most professionals seeking treatment of their addiction are unaware of the potential legal implications that may affect their ability to practice their profession.

Dr. Bogdan is a registered pharmacist and an attorney. He received his Pharmaceutical Doctorate degree from UIC College of Pharmacy. He obtained Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School. Upon graduating from law school was employed as a health-related prosecutor with the IL Dept of Financial and Professional Regulations. He then went to the IL Dept of Public Health where worked as both the State of Illinois Head Pharmacist and Deputy Director of Emergency Preparedness and Response. After, he was National General Counsel for Jewel/Osco. He is Currently in private practice with a focus on health-related matters including Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) issues, health professional licensure issues, hospital and insurance provider privileges.
