Bei der Verkostung im Jahr 2016 ist uns schon damals die milde "Note" dieses Rotweins aus Bordeaux aufgefallen, dies liegt zu einem großen Teil an dem reduzierten Alkoholanteil dieses Jahrgangs, der durchweg angenehm auffällt,nach den doch relativ schwerlastigen Weinen aus 2009 und 2010.
Wir stellen hier nach längerer Pause mit dem MAYNE-DURÈGE 2014 wieder einen Château-Wein ein, von dessen Qualität wir unbedingt überzeugt sind, dies haben bereits die Jahrgänge 2009 und auch 2010 gezeigt, der aktuelle Jahrgang 2014 erhielt auf der bekannten Veranstaltung CONCOURS DE BORDEAUX 2015 die Goldmedaille, die Medaille d`Or.
Die Weinberge des Château MAYNE DURÈGE liegen in Pessac, einem kleien Dorf neben Sainte-Foy La Grande, der Boden besteht hier zu ca 50 % aus Kalk und Ton, gute "Zutaten" für einen klassischen Bordeauxwein.
Das Inhaber geführte CHÂTEAU von Michel Coustou versteht es auf traditionelle Weise auf den 19 ha Rebfläche guten Bordeauxwein zu vinifizieren, der einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterläßt.

After a longer break, we are again introducing the MAYNE-DURÈGE 2014, a Château wine whose quality we are absolutely convinced of, as the 2009 and 2010 vintages have already shown. The current 2014 vintage received the gold medal, the Medal d'Or, at the well-known CONCOURS DE BORDEAUX 2015 event.
