Almost 1.3 billion every year is distributed to provinces and districts through services improvement programs, however, this money is never monitored, tracked and acquitted for properly. This statement was made by the Vice-Minister for Finance & Rural Development, Joseph Sungi at the introduction of the Data Management System project initiated by the Department of Implementation and Rural Development.
The project once implemented is aimed at monitoring and evaluating all services improvement programs and district information management systems throughout the country.
