The results may spell trouble for ruling BJP which has only managed to establish leads on 29 seats so far. Counting for the five-phase Jharkhand Assembly elections in the state is underway. In the 2019 Jharkhand assembly election, the primary fight is between the BJP and the Congress- Jharkhand Mukti Morcha alliance. Counting of votes began at 8 am.
