The former actor found lifeless after he jumped out in a residential area in Santolan Town in San Juan. According to the initial report, Mico Palanca, brother of Bernard Palanca, was depressed about his love-life so he decided to take his own life and jumped out of the building today, December 9.
Way back in 2006, it can be recalled that Mico and Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo had a special relationship with each other as revealed by the late actor during the press conference of their movie, It Might Be You. Mico admitted back then that he dated Bea Alonzo but they had no label yet they exclusively dating during those times.
Mico is the younger brother of former Hunks member Bernard Palanca. He comes from a family of artists. His maternal grandfather, Armando Goyena, was also an actor and matinee idol during the 1950s.
He is also the grandson of businessman and philanthropist Carlos Palanca, Jr. of the prestigious Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. His mother, Pita Revilla-Palanca, also comes from the Revilla clan.
He entered the showbiz industry when he became a member of Star Circle back in 1999. He was known for his roles in the 90s weekly-oriented show “Tabing Ilog”, “Bituing walang ningning” (2006), “Pangako sa ‘yo” (2000) and “Yamashita: The Tiger’s Treasure” (2001).
After that, he starred in several television series–the most recent was an episode of ABS-CBN’s Ipaglaban Mo! and Wansapanataym.
