Just In : Senate May Pass 2020 Budget Next Week

Baring a last minute hitches, the Senate is set to pass the 2020 Appropriation bill next week.

This was disclosed on Tuesday by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, while reacting to a motion by the chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, Sen. Barau Jibrin (Kano North) during plenary.

Coming under Order 43, Jibrin had earlier told the senate why the committee was unable to present its report on the 2020 budget.
