This week I invited Dutch makeup legend @NikkieTutorials to my mum’s house in Fryslân for a chat about everything, from dealing with feeling insecure to our changing attitudes towards makeup. She has been showing us ‘the power of makeup’ on her YouTube channel since she was fourteen. Plus we did a little impromptu mukbang involving Frisian delicacy ‘sûkerbôle.’ But the best bit: I got to be a guest on an episode of Nikkie’s ‘The Power of Makeup’!
