11-30-2019: There was a large storm system in Southern California during thanksgiving weekend and snow was everywhere! It even covered interstate 5 at the Cajon pass leading to 4 hour long traffic jams and shutting down the roads leading up to Big Bear Lake (mountain). My friend Channing and I wanted to see the snow, but we didn't want to deal with traffic and too many people. We know the perfect place to get our fix of snow... Pioneer Town! This is where Burns Canyon road 2N02 goes 18 miles up the mountains into Big Bear. Channing and I are pretty proficient at driving on snow, and it was no surprise that he was just as prepared as far as recovery and survival gear. This made for the perfect video. This video is a bit of a public service announcement. For those of you that have never driven on snow before, I want you guys to be safe, so this video is for you! I hope you find it useful!
