Public sector year-end bonus a 'reasonable, credible signal' to rest of economy: Analyst Civil servants will be getting their lowest year-end bonus since the global financial crisis a decade ago. The public service division has said it is "exercising restraint" in view of economic uncertainties. Most civil servants will get a 0.1-month bonus, with an added one-off lump-sum payment of up to $1,500. Mr Jamus Lim, economist at Thirdrock Group and associate professor at Essec Business School, was in the studio to discuss the economic outlook and whether spending will be affected.
