We spent our FIRST NIGHT SLEEPING in our newly REMODELED RV! Not to mention we traveled our first considerable distance away from home and Big Betty the Bounder was a champ! The drive was mostly interstate so we could simply set the cruise control and go. The last 30 minutes of driving was another story. Before we got to our destination, we had to overcome steep hills, low valleys, and a very, and I mean very, curvy road!
We set up camp once we arrived at Ryan’s grandpa’s lake cabin. Grandpa Larry had 30 Amp hook-ups, which was perfect because it allowed us to try out most of our RV components; most importantly, our furnace and electric heater. It got down to 20 degrees!
We survived our first stay in our little home, got to spend time with Ryan’s grandpa, studied for our Physical Therapy boards exam, and even stopped by the local butcher shop to pick up some venison that Ryan had processed.
It was a great trip and we can’t wait to be living full time in our RV MOTORHOME CAMPER TINY HOME!
