The Same God - 1 Corinthians 12 4-11

The Same God - 1 Corinthians 12 4-11 This was written for a series Pastor Ed Bez is starting on 12-29-2019 about the Gifts of the Spirit. Let me tell you about Christ the Messiah Church on 7576 San Jose Blvd in Jacksonville, FL. This Messianic Congregation loves the Gifts of the Spirit, flows in the Spirit, encourages each member to contribute their talents and gifts, and encourages you to be who God made you to be. They blow the shofar, celebrate the Jewish (Godish) feasts, encourage flags, tambourines and dancing, have beautiful worship and celebrate communion every Sunday! They pray with boldness and power, prophesy with authority and direction, and they are so full of love! Pastor Bez is an Archeologist and Eschatologist with 25 years experience in Israel! Leaders are encouraging and they have Torah Studies on Saturdays at 11 am. I love Christ the Messiah Church and feel humbled to have found a place to get planted and grow!

1 Cor 12:4-11 Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Ruach. There are various kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are various kinds of working, but the same God who works all things in all people.
But to each person is given the manifestation of the Ruach for the benefit of all.
For to one is given through the Ruach a word of wisdom, to another a word of knowledge according to the same Ruach, to another faith by the same Ruach, to another gifts of healings by the one Ruach, to another workings of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Ruach activates all these things, distributing to each person individually as He wills.

1 Cor 12:4-11 (NIV)
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, a and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
