Twin Sheet Forming uses distinct top- and bottom molds, heat, and vacuum to create a void between two sheets of plastic while forming a strong edge seal, it is a version of thermoforming. At C&K Plastics, we can not only make parts stronger with geometries, but we are able to save the customer money by using two thinner sheets rather than one thick sheet and still have the strength.
With our new CANON zero sag machine, we are able to create twin sheet parts in high volume and with robotic efficiency.
