Beachgoers were mesmerised by this strange mass of black creatures swimming in a rock pool. The mystery sea creatures were captured in Phang Nga, southern Thailand, last Tuesday (31/12) morning.
Teerapong Chatchawanchonteera said he was exploring the waterfront with his friends when he noticed the small black creatures swimming in group near the shore.
The footage shows the strange marine animals floating on the surface of water near beach rocks.
Teeraphong said that he could not identify what they were after sitting on the rocks to watch them.
He said: "I saw them swimming near the shore and still I am still curious about what species they are.
"Some of the marine specialists I asked told me that they might be some types of Springtails."
