Hello folks welcome to my channel. This is a very simple way of sorting coins and searching rolls of coins to start your collection. I'm starting with Lincoln cents that has seven varieties. The Lincoln cent has three main varieties of the reverse coin, 1 wheat cent, Memorial, and shield reverses. Now in 2009, Denver and Philadelphia minted four separate more designs of birth year, informative year, legislative year, and the presidential year. In 1909, the Lincoln cent was minted for the 100 year anniversary of Lincoln's birth. In 1959, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Lincoln penny, the reverse of the Lincoln cent was changed to the Lincoln Memorial. It was also to commemorate Lincoln's 150th birth year. Back in 2009, the four new designs were to celebrate Lincoln's 20th years since his birth. In 2010, the Lincoln cent reverse was changed to The Shield to the present day, I hope you have fun collecting and searching. Please seek us for information and community.
