Confederate Activists 'Flag' in Lexington, Hold Memorial for Jackson|Lee

Activists who support flying the confederate battle flag spent Friday in Lexington, Virginia ahead of the local Lee–Jackson Day celebrations Saturday

The group - led by the Virginia Flaggers - waved the confederate flag throughout the town during the day, and held a memorial for Robert E Lee and Stonewall Jackson in the evening at their gravesite.

This comes three days ahead of a gun rights rally in Richmond that has led to a state of emergency being declared by Virginia's governor.
