Destiny 2: Line In The Sand Damage Tests - Worth Grinding For(?)

Line in the Sand is the first linear fusion in Destiny that can roll with Rapid Hit and Firing Line. Linear fusions also got a 20% damage buff with Season of Dawn. So, is it worth grinding a roll of this gun? Or will that line fade away in the wind? Let's do some damage testing.
