Our latest DIY RV Repair project showcases the process of replacing the door on a Norcold N611T RV Refrigerator. For added strength we decided to install a hinge upgrade kit that should help support the load on the plastic door hinges. A common failure point of the Norcold door assembly is the bottom hinge. Many of us overload the door without realizing it which can lead to premature hinge failure.
We are Brian and Shawnna, a full time RV couple who enjoy the RV lifestyle.
