Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, which marks 75 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Over the weekend, the Duchess of Cambridge had an emotional experience photographing Holocaust survivors where she said: “Whilst I have been lucky enough to meet two of the now very few survivors, I recognise not everyone in the future will be able to hear these stories first hand. It is vital that their memories are preserved and passed on to future generations, so that what they went through will never be forgotten.” Leading on from Kate's comments, the women debate whether we are doing enough to teach future generations about the horrors of the past.
