Are you ready to learn how to watercolor images for easy masculine cards? I've got the NEW Country Club designer paper that's just been released and I am so excited to be able to make a bunch of masculine cards and put my watercoloring skills to use.
My husband's birthday is coming up and since he enjoys golf it's the perfect time to put this new paper to use. I'm sure he'll appreciate my water coloring ideas too.
Since the designer paper and scrapbook papers are thinner than cardstock I had to come up with workable solutions for coloring the images for my handmade cards. Markers washed out the details on the images and sometimes bled through so that wasn't a great option to use on the entire image (I did use Stampin' blends on some images which worked well). I knew I wanted these masculine cards to be simple to make so I opted to watercolor. Watch the video in its' entirety so you don't miss the tips I share.
Know what else goes great with these watercolored images? The NEW Sale-A-Bration stamp set that you can get for FREE with minimum purchase called 'Sending you Thoughts' This is a great set as it has so many sentiments with a fun font. At this time of the year I love having lots of cards on hand for any occasion!
