LAPAROSCOPIC MYOMECTOMY FOR LARGE MYOMA UTERUS WITH TEMPORARY UTERINE ARTERY LIGATION

LAPAROSCOPIC MYOMECTOMY FOR LARGE MYOMA UTERUS WITH TEMPORARY UTERINE ARTERY LIGATION This video demonstrates the technique of Laparoscopic Myomectomy with temporary uterine ligation at the origin. This was a young unmarried patient of 30 years with a large Fundal Myoma of 12/11/10 cm. Her main complaint was mass per abdomen and Menorrhagia. In this surgery, I have shown the temporary uterine artery ligation at origin (one side with suture and other with clip). The principles of adequate length and depth of incision and traction forces have been shown. Multilayered closure ensuring no dead space with barbed suture has been demonstrated. We performed a contained bag Morcellation for her but this part has not been covered in the video.
